ISO 15156 Maintenance Panel Inquiry 2006-13

The question arises whether it’s NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-2’s intent for material manufacturers to indicate that their material conforms to the NACE standard on the Material Test Certificates, even though they don’t know any operating criteria.

The answer is that certification requirements are not part of the standard’s scope, and there are no mandatory requirements for certification in NACE MR0175/ISO 15156.
