FAQ's

Does NACE MR0175 require impact test?

NACE MR0175 Standard for Metallic Materials in H₂S Environments

NACE MR0175 is an international standard that outlines the requirements for metallic materials exposed to H₂S in oil and gas production environments. It is identical to ISO 15156, and ANSI/NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 lists the requirements for carbon steels, low alloys, and corrosion-resistant alloys exposed to H₂S in oil and gas exploration and production environments.

No Toughness Test Requirements in NACE MR0175

In NACE MR0175, there are no toughness test (impact or charpy v-notch) requirements for materials compliance.
