First Frame Agreement

Our first frame agreement is signed with Xodus Group, the scope is to provide support in materials and corrosion across the whole Xodus Group

2015

Entering The US Market

Energy Alloys becomes our first client in the USA, the Houston based company hires our expertise to strengthen their technical offer.

Major Contract With Dana Petroleum

Ivan Gutierrez is appointed as Discipline Authority in materials and corrosion for the multi-billion pound project Dana Western Isles.

2016

Growth Despite Oilprice Crash

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil reached its lowest point in 13 years of US$26.68 per barrel, despite the worst downturn in the oil history, we continue growing!!!

Norway

An oilfield service company in Stavanger becomes our first client in Norway consolidating our strong presence in the North Sea

We knew there is a metallurgy tradition in 5 Smithfield going back few hundred years, and after research we found that in 1861 Thomas Kedgell a foundry worker was living at our same address!

First Floating offshore wind project for OGC Energy

OGC Energy secured the first floating offshore wind project. OGC Energy is working on behalf of the Employer providing advice on the corrosion protection strategy. The project will have a capacity in excess of 500MW and will transform the floating offshore industry in South Korea.

Collaboration with Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC)

Our commitment to help the industry advance in hydrogen storage and transport technologies is reflected through our collaboration with AMRC. These types of collaborations show the importance of industry partnering with universities, allowing us a blend of practical industry expertise and cutting-edge academic insights. The result of this collaboration allows us to expand our work with clients in H2 storage and the relevant pressure vessel regulations. The British Embassy in The Hague and Offshore Energies UK request the pleasure of OGC Energy at a Carbon Capture & Storage Networking Dinner

OGC Energy was invited to contribute to vital discussions on Europe’s energy security and the transition to an interconnected North Sea. At the Offshore Energy Conference in Amsterdam, we joined industry leaders to highlight the urgency of developing a coordinated European carbon transport and storage network.
